After watching this DVD, I want to live in Iceland. Seriously, after decades of traveling the world for various reasons I want to settle down and die peacefully in Iceland. Yeah, so I'm young and idealistic. Bite me. Can't hurt to dream, right?

You know, if it wasn't for you (and your very encouraging and complimentary nagging), I don't think I'd ever update this blog.

Sage: I have a friend who lives in the building they filmed the warehouse scene for Vanilla Sky. (The "warehouse" has been converted into a bunch of artists' lofts. Or maybe it was converted into a warehouse for the film.) But even though I have a friend who literally lives in a part of the movie, I've never really wanted to see Vanilla Sky (yeah, partly because most people hate it)...until I heard Sigur Ros' music was in it. So yes, what I'm basically saying is... I like Sigur Ros more than I like my friends.

essaytch: I played a part in saving your musical soul eh? I guess you owe me one...big time. I'll let you know when I need something.

Shell: Whoa indeed.

Thanks for the review - I just love Sigur Ros. I was introduced years ago during the film Vanilla Sky (which everyone seems to hate, but I actually quite like, Scientologists or not).

You're most welcome, you blasphemer... :) . (is it just me or do these smiley faces look kind of retarded?) I think every human being should know about this band. People should be given their albums at birth or something...as part of their health insurance plan. I actually heard that Chris Martin of the band Coldplay played Sigur Ros' music during the birth of his kids...I'm not sure if it was during the pregnancy or during the actual birth. I think I read it was during the actual birth. I'm not sure how well the music would go with the painful screams and cursing of a mother giving birth...hmm...

But...yeah..umm, yes, Sigur Ros are great! Glad you like them. (They do give absolutely mesmerizing interviews...they moved you to tears!)

Michael, thank you for two things:

1) Introducing me to Sigur Ros. Call me a blasphemer, but I'd never heard of them before (or at least, I didn't think so). Now I'm a fan...big fan...big...HUGE.

2) The link to the NPR radio interview. Love the uncomfortable silence and one word responses...there were tears, I was laughing so hard.

Yea, so thanks. :)
